As I sit here at my desk taking a few minutes to write this post while taking a break from the end of year paperwork, filing and other tasks associated with ending one year and begin the next, I do ask myself where did the year go?
A lot has happened during 2011, some good and some not so good, but regardless I feel as if overall some great achievements and milestones have been made. I’ve met a lot of new friends, customers and renewed some old ones too.
Who would of thought that last year at this time there would be a radio program for and about plastic scale modeling, let alone I would be the show’s host! I didn’t…or maybe I did. ;0) Since it was first pitched back in late July, it has made its debut and its audience grown with each episode.
What is in store from my corner of the hobby, both actual and virtually in 2012? Continuation of The Plastic Scale Modeling Hour for one. Which also serves as motivation for me to get back to the bench to build and share what I do during the process of building. I also hope to include many of you my fellow modelers as my guests on the show, modelers talking about modes…a virtual club meeting presentation of sorts.
I soon will be unveiling a product that many have been asking for…an acrylic version of my popular Raptor Sheen. Look for it sometime in January/Feburary.
There are a lot of lofty goals that I have set for 2012. Those set for 2011 and not achieved must be as a requirement for those set to reached in 2012.
I hope you have a most Prosperous, Healthy and Happy New Year! & Happy Modeling!
