Hardwood Range Open House

If you’re a military aviation fan and live within commuting distance to central Wisconsin, you’ll probably want to drop everything and visit the Hardwood Range Open House on Friday September 9, 2011. Gates open at 8AM and close at 4PM, parking and admission is FREE!

What you’ll see…A-10, F-16 and B-1B live fire/ordinance delivery…yes bullets and bombs! As well as explosive ordinance demos, static displays and other ground demos.

Hardwood range is located 15 miles north of Necedah on Hwy 80, 2 miles east on Cty Rd F at Finley then north 1.5 miles on 11th Ave.

There is plenty of room to watch the aerial firepower displays and there will be both food and souvenir vendors on site. The weather forecast is looking excellent, so that shouldn’t be a factor. However, mission/maintenance  requirements may affect which aircraft do show to participate.

Don’t forget to bring your CAMERA!

This video is about a B-52 crew planning a training bomb run at Hardwood Range.
