I built this What-If UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) aka a drone some years ago. I started to take images of my collection to document them for future reference. The Bat has seen combat, not in a real world sense but on the contest tables at a couple of events. It even got an Honorable Mention once!

The Bat is primary made from 1:72 C-130 Hercules pieces. An engine and propeller, two tail and rudder assemblies, horizontal stab and an external fuel tank. The rest is sourced from my spares stash.

Its mission, to serve as a reconnaissance platform as well as a communication/data link between forward deployed troops and their command center.
