Just a day or two ago…man this week has gone by fast…EAA’s B-17 “Aluminum Overcast” was flying around the homestead. It had just come out of its required inspections, so the crew was out giving it a quick shakedown flight before heading back out on the show tour circuit. Anyway seeing it fly over the house as it made several touch and goes at Appleton, I got to thinking.

Maybe it is time to build the Monogram 1:48 B-17G kit I have in the stash as a winter project. This presents a nifty opportunity to use my paint products as well as demonstrate some useful techniques!
