The Spitfire pilot who flew with no legs and ended up in Colditz Castle. Reading about Escape from Colditz, one pilot built a aeroplane to fly from Colditz. There are many other true stories about the ROYAL Air Force, which are all true of course. The RAF consisted of Yanks, the Eagle Squadron who were there before US came into the European war.
