I get this question asked of me frequently…”How do I get to be a better modeler?” One of the best ways is to get involved in a local scale modeling club or International Plastic Modelers Society Chapter near you. These are great places to learn and share scale modeling tips, techniques as well as seeing models up close that others have built. The comradeship of other modelers who have experienced your experiences or are sharing similar ones is one of the best ways to become a better modeler.

Reading too is a great resource to improving your skill sets. During our last meeting one of the guys brought in several books on/about modeling. I paged through one of them titled “F.A.Q. Frequently Asked Questions about Techniques used for painting aircraft” written by J.M. Villalba, which I found to be a great resource even for the experienced modeler!
