Thanks to a friend and renowned aviation photographer Steve Williams I have the images I was seeking to capture the metallic essence of the Raptors paint scheme. These images will not only help me in the development of a way to duplicate the effect, but it will also inspire me to get my 1:48 Academy kit of the F-22 Raptor completed.

Steve took these during his visit to AirVenture 2008 which is where we met. Since then Steve and I have been corresponding to share our passion for photography, especially wildlife and birds.

Hopefully he is remembering those hot humid summer days at Oshkosh while dealing with the record snowfall in the UK. Thanks for the pictures Steve!
