NEW COLOR!
We’ve been sending out test samples of a NEW COLOR we’ve been considering to introduce. Initial feedback has been positive, so we’ve decided to introduce the new color NOW. Silver is available in both lines, our enamel based SnJ Spray Metal and the acrylic based Talon Series. Those who have responded find it great for highlighting panels on their NMF projects. Compliments our aluminum very well.
Professional Sprue Cutters
We are expecting our first shipment of the Xuron 2175ET Professional Sprue Cutters to arrive soon. Production recently started and shipments to distributors and dealers has begun. We’ll add them to our catalog as soon as they arrive. I know many have been asking where they can get theirs, soon it will be available from us!
Fluorescent Red Orange
Our Fluorescent Red Orange is featured in a FineScale Modeler magazine Workbench Review of Minicrafts 1:48 T-41 Mascalero. See page 60 of the March 2009 issue. Whether your looking for using it for a new finish or replicate a worn faded (which is something this color was prone to do quickly in service) you can with ours.
Color Discontinued
Due to the continued extremely ridiculous high cost for the raw pigments necessary to produce our Gunmetal paints and powders we have elected to discontinue it.

Great, just in time for the DC-10 on the workbench. Just ordered that Silver, should look great. Will send you some pictures when done.
Best regards,
Jesse
Sigh… bad news about the gunmetal. Do you have any left in stock?
Sorry…not a drop or a speck.
Sorry to hear about the discontinuing of your gunmetal but as a substitute I’ve been using Model Master’s Metalizer Non-Buffing lacquer gunmetal with pretty good results.
Many of our SnJ Spray Metal users tell us it is very versatile giving them the ability to use it in conjunction with other products. Some use it as a base because of its masking tape friendliness, which many other NMFs don’t accommodate, they’re too fragile and pull up. They’ll use metalizers as their highlight or contrasting colors.
