Hawkeye’s Squawkbox

One of the goofy little things I’ve been trying to do lately is catch FedEx 1652 on it’s nightly departure from Appleton, WI. This time of year presents a great opportunity to not only capture the departing flight, but do it against a magnificent sunset as a backdrop. I only wish I had a better digital camera and lens to really pull the aircraft in. Doing so one would be able to make out the FedEx markings. Then maybe I could get one of my pictures featured in one of FedEx’s calendars. Oh well, I can dream and continue to see how my snapshots turn out.
